Demon Duck

Welcome to hell, demon Duck.

Play as demon Duck, a not so great duck that has ended up in hell. Fight the devils dice as you make your way to the ruler of hell to take them on, and become more then a demon, become a devil.

A top down view of the player, using WASD to move and mouse aiming + shooting. There are chests within the world, but you can get either a blessing (a buff with no consequence) or a curse (either a straight de-buff or buff with a consequence).

The GMTK build features 1 basic (very very basic) level, with a boss fight at the end.

It hits the theme of rolling the dice as it literally, has dice for enemies :), but also incorporates a roll system for the blessings/curses which kinda works for that too.

The game is made for GMTK 2022, had a lot of fun making it. A few things were cut out as I still had life to live whilst making it (sadly), but if I ever come back to this game, I would add a more random/proceedable level system, which was originally the hope before realizing I had 4 hours to go with literally no game haha.
